The students at my charter school have been dealing with uncertainty and complex emotions for the past two years. By donating this puppet stage, you will be enhancing student literacy and emotional health. This is especially important during a time when they feel isolated and alone in their worries. Students will use this to create their own puppet plays and stories. Utilizing puppet theatre collaborations will build a stronger classroom community in a fun and creative way. Opportunities to make their own puppet shows also creates a safe space for students to share feelings, concerns, and problems.
