The materials I'm requesting will be used in my speech/language classrooms at two schools, and during tele therapy sessions due to COVID illness and school closures. Students will be able to hold and manipulate objects to practice labeling objects/actions, categorizing, describing by function, size, color, shape, etc., as well as practicing pronouncing sounds correctly. After hearing short stories they will improve comprehension by identifying the main idea of the story and naming 2-3 pertinent details about the story. Students with social language goals will discuss emotions, facial expressions, body language, and inferences found in these stories. I love seeing how excited my students are when they have a variety of materials/games to use each week! These materials will help so much!
