Many of my kindergarten students did not attend preschool last year because of COVID-19. Therefore, some of them were behind in learning their letters and sounds. We have worked so hard this year in our classroom and have learned all the letters and sounds. We have been blending and sounding out words every day. Many of my students are reading books all on their own now. My students need access to books on their reaching level, so that they can practice their reading skills. Our classroom has a ton of books but they are just in bins and tote trays. I would love a place to have them be accessible to the students so that they can read them easily.
