I want to support the students in my classroom by making sure they have the supplies needed when entering class. I have my students use whiteboards and whiteboard markers all of the time to engage student learning. I know that getting my students' attention helps my classroom run smoothly and improves student engagement and I plan to use the doorbell as a tool to do so. Many kids come to my class without even a pencil and to help them be successful I would like to have extras on hand as well as some of the other supplies I have requested. Part of my personality is making my classroom inviting and interesting. This helps the students feel comfortable and safe. I will use the decorations to make a warm and creative environment, which some of my students don’t quite receive at home and my classroom is a place where I want them to feel that. I also have individual math supplies that my students use everyday and want to make sure that they can access them in an orderly and organized way.
