When students can use sensory equipment like weighted vests and stretchy foot band fidgets to help calm the whole body. Or hand fidgets like squeeze balls, stickers, and stretchy bands to help calm their fidgeting all these things can help the students focus. Sometimes a finger rub over Velcro or a sensory sticker, playing a simple magnetic game, drawing on a doodle board, or listening to soft music while watching a sensory tube is enough to help a student calm themselves to help them focus. Other times a student may need more stimulation like a spin on the sit and spin while chewing on a rubber LEGO necklace. Through this DonorsChoose request, we will have the appropriate equipment to help our students excel in their education while taking care of their sensory needs. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!
