For the last few years, I have been running an extra service class with my students. I have been funding the materials out of my own pockets up to this point. By helping students do service, this not only helps my students with scholarships, but it also helps the community. Covid has made it extremely difficult to find service opportunities for many of my students, so this has been a wonderful way to help everyone involved. We have sewn hundreds of monsters for Primary Children's hospital, made Valentine's Day and Christmas cards for assisted living centers, painted puff socks for the elderly at nursing homes, and done many more projects. These projects help my students build service and leadership. These are critical skills they can gain before leaving high school. It would be wonderful if I could get some assistance with these projects.
