Incredible as this may sound, we already know how the supplies being requested will be used within our classroom! Answer Boards and markers will allow all students to participate in answering lesson related questions. Instead of two students participating in a review game, all students in our class will have the opportunity to hone their skills in testing their learned knowledge. I can think of nothing better than 100% engagement and participation. I will have the opportunity to quickly glance at each student's answers and immediately correct mistakes and/or misunderstanding. The Answer Board Supply Center will keep all Answer Boards organized and provide a home so that boards are not misplaced or lost. The Alphabet Tubs will provide a great element of fun as students continue to master letters and make letter/sound recognition. The Alphabet Tubs Storage Rack will keep the tubs organized, each tub will have a home avoiding misplacement of any tubs. Lakeshore World Family Readers will give my students new books to explore at individual student levels. This will help to increase their fluency, accuracy, and comprehension as their love for reading continues to grow. The Book Display Stand will help keep books organized, in student’s constant sight and will increase the student’s likelihood of grabbing a book to read for pleasure. Giant Beads, paints, pencil grips, and Tweezer Tongs will greatly help my little's who are struggling with fine motor skills. Each will aid in providing practice for little fingers. Each of these items will be helpful and will benefit all of my students in different ways creating an exciting learning environment, helping them to grow, and creating life-long learners.
