I teach English Language Development which is a class designed for student who do not speak English in their homes. The programs that we use to teach and assess these students require headphones with mics, and many students in this program cannot afford to purchase their own. The school can provide headphones, but supplies are limited and in the age of Covid, many students are reluctant to share. Additional headphones would help my program tremendously. Headphones are usually good for 5-6 years. In addition, a speaker system will allow my student to hear me clearly when I teach. This can be especially difficult for English language learners.
