A designated table for small groups allows students to easily adjust from their seat to the small group table without a major time lapse. At this time, our classroom doesn't have enough furniture for this to happen. Students have to collect all of their belongings and shuffle to a new seat every time small group rotation happens. This takes away valuable instruction time from the students. My students will be more engaged in their work and less disruptive of their peers when they do not have to move all of their belongings multiple times during class period. The table that I have selected will help my students by giving them an actual "new" space to move to.
