My students will be able to learn how to create music with a multi-track recording device to record their performances and record video. They will learn the challenges and the discipline of careful attention required for editing and recording music We have a choir piece, "The Sound of Silence", as sung by the Pentatonix for five voices (accapella). With this equipment, they will be able to sing and record their song. This will allow them to see where they are doing great and where they need improvements. This will culminate in a performance of the piece at the end of the year. They will get an objective view of their current skills and learn that there are many skills that they can still discover and acquire.
