These manipulatives will allow the students to explore concepts in math and really discover ideas that help them grow. With hands on learning using the pattern blocks, magna tiles and snap cubes, students will explore 3D patterns and multiplication and patterns in general. Studies show that students who use concrete manipulatives as they learn tend to remember ideas and concepts. I want students to focus on hands on learning, not just memorization, to actually learn math concepts and not just memorize formulas. Students can learn to reason through problems to help them in analyzing all problems and difficulties.
