A document camera will allow my entire art class to see my demonstrations clearly as we work together to create and complete assignments. A document camera will also allow students to view other students' work. I will be able to project student work and discuss how they successfully achieved their assignments. I believe that students learn just as much from each other as from the teacher. When students see their peers work it shows them not only that the assignment can be done but also shows them creative ways to achieve success. The document camera will also allow me to record lessons so I can upload them to Canvas. My art students benefit from watching my demonstration videos on Canvas. I have been using my personal phone up to this point to record videos and I am constantly having to delete videos off my phone so I can record new ones. The document camera would save the videos directly to my computer allowing me to skip a time consuming step.
