During Covid-19 I have noticed that a lot of my students have struggled with their critical thinking skills. After doing research and attending training, I believe that teaching them computer science will help them bridge the gap when it comes to their critical thinking. Having engaging, interactive technology with Dash robots will help me to keep my class excited about learning and problem-solving. I will also get the chance to use the white boards to make sure that EACH student is equipped with things that they need to be successful. Computer science and coding are a language that every successful adult will need to know in the future, but with current educational funding it is often difficult to provide students with the proper equipment needed to learn these skills. This equipment would allow me to teach my students computer coding so they can be ready for their future jobs.
