The materials will help my students take a hands-on and critical thinking approach to learning science. They will be able to look at models to discuss what those structures are used for. Then they will dissect and learn about structures and functions of the brain and eye. They will use the aprons to be able to dissect looking at internal and external structures and how those structures benefit the animals. They will also learn about fossils and patterns in the sky through a more hands on, age appropriate way. Organization is also a key to successful learning. With the chair pockets, they will be able to keep all their learning supplies where they can quickly have access.
