The use of these chapter books will help my students in a multitude of ways. They have all struggled during this time and reading scores have seen a drastic turn for the worse. These books give us the ability to complete novel studies together as a class. This will increase interest and in turn increase their love of learning. These books will also introduce my students to unique and amazing characters and help them see the world from a different viewpoint. I am hoping by getting a class set of these novels we can do in-depth classroom discussions and activities on these novels. This will increase their comprehension and vocabulary. There is nothing more exciting for students than when we are all able to read the same book together. It encourages and develops such deep discussions. These books will help my classroom so much.
