By providing our classroom with flexible seating and a variety of work spaces, our students will have the opportunity to make their own choices about how they learn best. They will provide them with areas where they can work independently or in a group. This, in turn, supports social/emotional growth and gives them the ability to have multiple choices which can aid in decreasing undesired behaviors and allow more learning to take place in the allotted classroom time. The ability to make choices in their day can also increase social/emotional awareness and growth in many areas of the student and have a "trickle" effect in other areas of their life.

About my class
