These items will help my students by giving them a comfortable space to read in the classroom. Also, they will use magnetic letters for word work and vocabulary during guided reading. They will have unlimited access to read books on their level in an organized system where they can locate “just right” books quickly. My students’ interests will be piqued as they find a new, interesting book and find a cozy spot to read it. When students are encouraged to read and the atmosphere is set for enjoyment of reading, I believe that their love for reading will grow.
