STEM centers are a great way for students to learn through engaging play and exploration. They can feel success in their achievements and gain confidence in themselves. These activities will also aide them with problem solving and critical thinking skills essential for their future success. While some of my students came to first grade with gaps in their learning, these STEM centers will aide them in building skills essential in all learning areas. The activities I have chosen will help them to continue to grow and gain confidence in themselves. Also, having a direct impact in addressing the learning gaps due to the effects of the pandemic.
