Due to COVID-19 and the extra supplies that are needed to keep the classroom clean and sanitary, storage space is minimal. Artwork could use a place to dry and the students need extra storage space that we just don't have. The shelves would provide a place for all the supplies that are needed during a school day. The rug is especially needed during a pandemic. Story time is essential in first grade and a rug would allow students to sit and and allow some social distancing and a place for each child to sit. Thank you for considering this project!
