Literacy and Reading are keys to student success in first grade! Please assist me with supplies to make literacy and reading extentions fun in the classroom. After receiving enhanced professional development training, I realized that incoporating more hands-on student materials with literacy and reading lessons can help bridge the gap for at risk students. The proposed literacy project will provide my Students' with writing boards, literacy games, and pencil-supports. These supplies will contribute to enhancing student ablities with writing letters & sentences, word building, decoding skills and blending. This project will enable students to learn in smaller groups and have more social interactions while utilizing the literacy games. As students show improvement through their learning activities and dedication, they will also be rewarded with classroom incentives. Thank you for your consideration and assistance with educating my students!
