The requested items will be used to encourage student engagement as we focus on our Science goals! The Laser Mazes will be used to help the students learn and really understand how reflection works. The hands on experience will help to impress on the students how light travels and reflects off of mirrors. They will be able to be challenged as well as engaged. The tuning forks will be great for showing the vibration of sound waves. The speaker will be helpful in showing sound waves with water as well as rice grains. The students are so excited whenever they can help with a hands on experiment. The supplies requested are essential in helping the students be prepared and engaged in the learning process. I can't wait to allow the students to explore with all of the new supplies that will be available. They will be excited to use the fraction measuring cups and Fraction War game for math.
