We are really focused this year on reading progress and proficiency and helping our student make gains in reading. There are a great number of students who are struggling in literacy due to educational gaps incurred by COVID-19. This iPad will allow me to Dibles progress monitor my students' for first sound fluency, phonemic fluency and reading progress, identify gaps in their learning weekly, and helps me target my instruction during class time to best help them reach reading and literacy proficiency because I will have data to see if all my students have understood the lesson that I taught that week in first sound fluency , phonemic fluency and reading. I am asking for the Cd player , 8-Station junction Box and English Language Development Speaking Listening material to give my students more opportunities to being exposed to more literacy. Give opportunities to my students that are struggling with reading to listen to books on tapes and follow along with there finger in the book to help them read a book successfully. Having books on tape would help my students with comprehending the text they just read. The dry erase boards with kindergarten writing line are for my students to use to write answers of what they comprehended about the story and practice appropriate letter placement . I am planning on using the twist and turn 3- letter word builder in my lessons. To have my students manipulated the letters to great new words and practice CVC word reading and writing. Reading is so critical to a students long term success in education and overall well-being throughout their life. Please help me to support my Students
