I am requesting color printer for our classroom. Nowadays, children are bombarded with bright and highly colored images from all directions. Student access to high quality printed materials is crucial to their ability to practice and to be engaged and focused. Educational materials need to be engaging in order for the students to stay engaged themselves. This focus is important for the students to be able to complete their work. The high cost of printed workbooks for each student has driven our districts and school from purchasing them and we rely mostly on copies that we make in our school's copiers (meaning only black and white). Often, just a little color pop on a printed page can catch a students attention and encourage them to maintain focus and do their best work. A color printer can give us just what we need at the various times we need it.
