I will use these materials to assist my students with their various communication deficits. New and varied therapy supplies help to keep students interested in therapy which improves their outcomes. The cards will be used to play various games in therapy. I have found that making therapy fun and enjoyable results in better motivation for the students to participate and practice. Correcting articulation helps children to have improve phonemic awareness which is critical to reading and writing. It also helps them to have more confidence when speaking. Assisting student with expressive and receptive language deficits will help them to more fully access the general curriculum.
