I chose the items in the cart to aid my students in being successful and learning in spite of Covid-19. The school provides them computers, but lack headphones and a mouse. They struggle to use the chromebooks that we have. I chose the mice because this will help them navigate through canvas, McGraw Hill, and iready better. These are programs we use during remote learning and in class learning. This is where I put content they need to learn at their own pace and stretch them so they can catch up and be on grade level. The headphones they use in class so they can be working on different things at different times and not distract one another. The folders I chose will help keep them organized by subject and so they aren't losing papers we do in class. Many of my students are disorganized and I'm trying to teach them to be responsible. The folders I chose will allow them to do this with efficiency. Their safety and well being is a constant concern of mine. I don't want them sharing items. The colored pencil and spiral notebooks can help them as they journal and read through stories to identify the main idea and key details. This will help with their language arts. This will keep them healthier and in class so their learning will continue and they have the opportunity to catch up.
