COVID-19 took away the last part of my third grade students' first grade school year as well as altered the learning environment during their full second grade school year. They were forced to learn from home during multiple school closures due to COVID-19 and were restricted on many learning activities and experiences. Therefore, their teachers struggled to teach the necessary skills and concepts they need to be successful. The school years that COVID-19 affected for my students are the years that transform children into being successful students. I want them to have all the resources they need to make up for all the time they lost and prepare them for success now and in the future.

About my class
