The items in my project will help enhance my students' academic learning as well as social-emotional learning by giving them access to new technologies and avenues of learning. The iPad will help to streamline daily learning and lesson planning. It will allow me as a teacher to access learning applications otherwise not available and will allow me to bring to life presentations to guide student learning throughout my history/social studies lessons. Headphones will allow students to listen to readings, videos, and audio, which will appeal to a variety of learning needs and help my students be successful. Students who may need a text read to them aloud without distracting other students in the classroom will now have this option available through the use of headphones. This emphasis on technology will also help to prepare my students for the future by providing them with important digital literacy skills. Likewise, alcohol wipes are essential in schools and are of utmost importance in keeping desks, electronics, and devices wiped down and sanitized to ensure the students' and teachers' safety. As we all know too well, learning has to start with the health and well-being of our students.
