The use of the carpet will be used several times in the day in the first grade classroom. The letters will also be used on a daily basis in a small group setting. The carpet will help students have their own space in the classroom as they learn. The paints and tiles will create interesting and stimulating ways to create in the classroom. These hands-on materials will give students ways to make words, paint words and study words. They can share their work with each other as they increase their learning abilities.
