It was difficult for many students to participate in remote learning during the COVID-19 pandemic. Now that school is once again in-person, I hope to make school a place where students can learn to love learning. Fostering a love of reading is one way that I hope to do this. It is important for students to have access to current and exciting books that they will look forward to reading. A classroom library must include various types of books with different subjects and reading levels. My project includes both single copies of books for the classroom library, as well as book sets that will allow students to read books together as a book club group.

About my class
