I am requesting these materials specifically to help my students with the "Covid slide" they have experienced. I need a wider variety of lower-level books to help appeal to each student and help build up their skills and confidence. The "Bob Books" specifically correlate with a program I am using. I have some of the books, but our school set is far from complete. With these new books and materials, my students will have more choices of books to read that are at their actual reading level. It will be nice to have some books that actually appeal to the students I am teaching. I am hoping that through this, they will want to read more and because of this, will show some improvement in their reading skills. I am also requesting more learning games. I have a few that the students love, but it will benefit to have more that work on other reading skills. The colored pencils will be to help us create our own books and projects.
