As a science department we strive to create an age appropriate, academically rigorous foundation in Earth System. Doing so is most effective when students can observe and study scientific phenomena using hands-on instruments and equipment. The proposed equipment will significantly enhance student's learning. All this equipment will help get science in the students' hands, and that's when the best kind of learning happens! This is my first year teaching and therefore am excited use this equipment for future labs while I am still young and building this curriculum! The common classroom equipment will be used throughout all year and is very much needed. The books for ideas for demonstrations will also be an amazing contribution in assisting me with lesson planning. I'm most looking forward for lab equipment, and the school currently just started offering Earth Systems and is lacking equipment. Thanks always.
