The recorders will allow each student in those grade levels to use their own and will be a safer alternative then sharing and I won't have to clean recorders after each class. It will be a great help for me as a teacher. The parachute will help with motor skills and involves my student with special needs. I already have music activities that combine with the parachute. Using a parachute can be a great stress reliever and teaches cooperation and team building. Besides recorders and a parachute, the markers are used with my whiteboards to assess their knowledge of musical terms and notations we have learned. These resources will be such a treasure in the classroom. The books I have requested tell stories of creativity and everyday people that explored music in their lives. I have had to use many books read online during the pandemic, and my students would much rather hear my voice and I don't have to deal with ads. This will be an important part of the social and emotional learning in my classroom.
