This hockey equipment will be used in our physical education department and used in multiple courses that we teach which means reaching much of our school's student population. Research shows that 30-60 minutes of MVPA (moderate to vigorous activity) is needed daily and we only see our students 2-3 times per week. This equipment will give the kids an opportunity to play a fun sport that gets a ton of kids engaged at the same time. I am in my 17th year teaching and in all my years, floor hockey continues to be the activity that gets the best effort out of my students.
