The use of pottery wheels is a daily activity in my classroom. Ceramics has become one of he most wanted classes, I can see students can focus and get away from daily challenges. Some students have demonstrated this class helped them to survive throughout the entire week, this class not only help students to development skills building ceramic pieces but also help students to learn to use both hemispheres of the brain, allowing them to release stress and open space for new knowledge. The fact of working with clay, help students to learn new ways to solve problems and canalized frustration turning it into a new solution, growing patience and self confidence. By donating to this project is not only adding a new wheel to my classroom, it is giving the opportunity to 7 new students during the week to have a chance to practice and learn on the wheel without having to stop and sharing the wheel. Students will be able to learn more about wheels, technology, creativity, and maybe a future business for themselves, an Art to live out of. I appreciate this opportunities, I know me and my students happily will take advantage of it.
