We are currently very limited on the number of precision scales at our schools. This limits the types of chemistry labs that can be completed. Students would be able to gain greater understanding of concepts like conservation of mass and types of reactions if they had better access to a precision scale. It would help students bridge the gap in these concepts that they missed during virtually learning, and would allow me as a teacher to use it in demonstrations and videos for students that are unable to participate in person.
