Having a variety of leveled, decodable, fiction, and nonfiction books in my classroom will give my students the opportunity to read a lot which will move them along in their reading. This is especially important right now because many students are struggling academically because of COVID. Many of my students did not attend Kindergarten so they need extra support to become proficient at reading. Having many books available in the classroom will support them in their growth. COVID has caused some social-emotional difficulties as well and LEGOs are a great way to calm kids down and let them use their imagination.

About my class
