All of the materials I have chosen for my project will help make in-person learning fun and engaging. Games will help students practice the important social skills they lost out on when they were at home during the pandemic, while also addressing the academic skills they need to learn now. Board games allow students to practice turn-taking, negotiating conflict, offering compliments, and practice unique academic skills. The multisensory materials are proven to improve student attainment of phonics and math concepts. Students show better engagement with a topic when they are giving multisensory access to it.

About my class
