As a Behavioral Assistant, I am in-charge of our school's calm down area. Students at our school know it as the "TAKE- 10 Room". This room allows students extra time to process big emotions and take a break from sensory overload. This room currently has very limited tools and can only serve one student at a time, with the extra tools we will be able to serve 2 or more students at once and therefore provide more support for our teachers. These tools are designed to help student de-escalate and be ready to return back to class to continue their academic learning.

About my class
