I have always felt that more learning takes place when the students are engaged. How better to engage all levels of learning in a classroom than to have students be able to use manipulatives to stimulate their learning. Covid changed what the classrooms look like. Supplies have not been shared, distance seating, and masks worn, have changed how our students learn. Using classroom kits and reading new books are a chance to initiate increased learning skills through hands-on interactions. I believe that learning should always be fun and inspiring, and I encourage my students to learn something new everyday and be life-long learners. Having these new supplies in my classroom will bring some life and fun back into the classroom that has had to be sparse and restricted due to the pandemic.
