These materials will put books into the hands of students who are below grade level. We have learned that there is a science to how students learn to read. Using that knowledge we know if we get books that match phonics skills we can boost students reading abilities. Every child needs to find success in reading! The more books I have in my classroom, the more access students have to those books. We can give variety and choice to students as they become proficient in each skill. As we teach in small groups, based on their skills, we need to give students access to books and text they can read. This is how we will use these books.
