If my project if fully funded it will help motivate students to do their best work. I will use these items to support their sensory needs as well as using them for reinforcers. The kitchen items will be used to help support the teaching of life skills for my students. We teach cooking to help students learn to make foods they like as independently as possible. Students pick from options we have available that day then we help them learn how to prepare that snack or dish. They will provide opportunities for my students with disabilities to complete life skills. My students often have severe behaviors in the classroom while seeking sensory input. These items will help manage classroom behaviors by providing appropriate sensory stimulation to all of my students.
