My students complete 100% of their work from home. Why? Because they are enrolled in an online school. I started teaching online school because of the growth in remote learning since the COVID-19 pandemic. Our school has always been an advocate for individualized learning. My students will benefit from this printer, laminator, and binder as I will be able to make full-color, printed, and bound guides for those who need printed materials mailed to them. I can laminate the cover sheet so it lasts. The printer and laminator will be beneficial for those taking business courses who could use a printed copy of the most often used keyboard shortcuts. Or for those that need the accounting equation broken down on one piece of paper to reference. If it is printed in color and laminated, they can use it for a long time. I plan to send postcards to each student along with motivational stickers in the mail so they know that someone sees them and the things they are accomplishing. I also want my students to receive the most organized and well-planned materials I can provide. The binding machine will help me keep things organized so students have a better learning experience. The sand art will help me keep my mental health in check as I learn to appreciate the simple things in life. Who doesn't love getting a fun personalized postcard in the mail? I am excited to be able to print notes, shortcut sheets, and professional postcards and stickers as well as keep my curriculum organized and bound for easy reference. It's the little things that can mean the most to help a student feel safe, cared for, and in turn, the ability to gain knowledge.
