My goal is to create a classroom where students are engaged and excited to learn and participate in class! My students make a variety of videos as projects in class as a way to let them be creative and show their understanding. They will make news clippings, stop motion videos and skits in which they model biological processes. These stands will help students record their videos and allow all students to be involved rather than having some filming. Students use microscopes multiple times throughout the year and these phone mounts will allow them to be excited about something that is at times so unrelatable to them. Cells are hard for kids to grasp because they can't see them with the naked eye. I hope to excite students and get them excited to share and talk about science by using these in class Students also keep and manage interactive notebooks throughout the year. The materials requested will allow to be creative and create work that they are excited about.
