I am requesting LEGO bricks and building plates for my first grade classroom. Many children do not have the opportunity to develop their imagination at home with LEGO bricks or building materials. The LEGO bricks will be used to allow students to use their imagination, learn how to play and share with their peers, and give them an opportunity to be creative and work with their fine motor skills. Students deserve the opportunity to explore, use their imagination, and create designs. By using LEGO bricks, students will need to think of a design and figure out a way to build it. They'll be thinking critically and using their imagination to create displays with LEGO bricks.

About my class
