The requested resources will help close the learning gap that COVID-19 has created. Our students need more material in the early reading genre. They will have fun stories to experience as they read about Frog and Toad, Mr. Putter and Tabby and Henry and Mudge. When the students experience the hardships and realities of farm life in Stone Fox, they can observe how the main character doesn't give up. As they travel the pages of the American Revolution, they will experience history in an in depth way. The students will grow in reading acquisition and in emotional learning through the words of talented authors.
