I am so excited to create an efficient work space for my classroom- staplers at the ready, being able to laminate and send home student work they are proud of. I look forward to creating a warm environment for my students to feel safe in and want to learn. I will also be creating incentives and stickers with the Cricut, along with class t-shirts to increase our feeling of family. These things will help me to create an environment that will be conducive to learning and increasing our social skills which have been curtailed with COVID-19 and students lives being turned upside down. Because many of our students are so far behind, we have increased ourr time in small groups and interventions. I need a comfortable chair to work with these students. This helps school be a place that students want to be and to learn to collaborate on activities. Collaboration is a twenty first century skill that is critical to real life applications. This will also allow me to create a fun place where students want to be!
