One thing my students crave each day is new knowledge. Every morning they are happy and ready to learn. The use of these manipulatives will help increase their understanding of skills they are lacking, due to the gap that occurred due to COVID-19. These supplies will help increase the ability of the students to retain the information they eagerly soak up each day. The base 10 blocks will be used on a daily basis in math class to give students the chance to "see" that every place needs a value. The fossil samples will give the students the added benefit of touching and feeling a fossil, instead of just looking at pictures of them. The headphones give the auditory experience for those whose learning style is listening.
