Students will have an opportunity to work together to dissect organisms which will give them a hands on science experience. Students learn best as they do actual hands on science and they really enjoy looking at organisms and comparing them to one another in order to better understand how life works. Animal phyla dissections help students compare organisms and the adaptations they have that make them suited for their environment. Fetal pig dissections give students an opportunity to look at the anatomy of a mammal closely related to humans and better understand human anatomy.
