At times the original text can be difficult for my students to understand. Being able to give them a different version of the text is helpful for understanding and completing assessments. It also gives it a more modernized version and a different take on the story. I want my students to enjoy reading and this is a great way to do it in a different form that is easy to understand. It also gives my students more time to work on assessments than having to read the entire time in class.
