Coming back from distance learning has been difficult for us all. I have realized that students are struggling with basic mathematical concepts. As we continue to learn new concepts in math the students would benefit from having calculators. These calculators would help them to not make simple computation mistakes and would allow for them to focus more on the new concepts at hand. Most of my students come from homes that do not have a lot of resources so they can not buy them on their own. Not being able to do this severely hinders them in the classroom.
